A 6.5×55 Swedish Mauser Sporterization Project
Here is a multi post series on sporterizing a 6.5×55 Swedish Mauser.
Some of the modifications I’ve done in the past on other rifles, and some I need to learn. For instance I’ve never carved basketweave so I will post both a practice session and the real carving.
Beyond this video There will be additional carving, hinging the floor plates, bedding the barrel, an after market trigger, crowning the barrel (it was previously shortened), jeweling and other embellishments.
