Osage Flat bow #1
This is the first Osage bow I’ve made from something that kind of resembled a stave. I chased a ring on the back of this chunk.
- Tip to tip it’s 66″
- the limbs are 1 3/4″ wide at the widest and are parallel to about mid limb.
- the limbs are about 5/8″ thick off the fades
- the tips at the nock are about 1/2″ wide and 3/8″ thick
- Backed with rawhide and stained with Fiebing’s Leather Dye
