Beech Beam Compass
It is shown with a 12″ beam but the beam is just a 1″ x 3/4″ piece of lumber
It can be used pin to pin or pin to pencil simply by extending the pencil longer than the ping, or the pin can be unscrews and removed.
The pins are made from harden roofing screws.
